Sharing some of the fabric and yarn stash I am saving for that rainy day.

A small pile of fabric to be used, the two top pieces are for the grand-daughters.
Sock yarn, you can never have too much and one day I will knit these up but at the moment my dearest and I have more than enough socks.
And this is my 8 and 10 ply cotton stash to be used for face or dish cloths.  Great little carry with you projects for short holidays or visiting.

There is so much more in my cupboard that needs sorting out at another time.

Crochet Shawl

My current project is a shawl for my sister as her Christmas gift.   The pattern is "Butterfly Stitch Prayer Shawl" designed by NJ Sharon.  This is a super easy pattern to remember and looks great when done. I am  using Drops Fabel Print in Guacamole, purchased from Love Knitting with a 3mm hook.
The yarn arrived in a gauze bag.

Close up of the butterflies.
Three balls used and just started on the fourth.

Another beginning

A place to share my handiwork. As the title says: sew, knit, crochet, bake, garden or whatever.
